I wish No on 8 and other American groups could have shamelessly stolen this, it's a great commercial.

The American version is called "Permission" on here, but I still think this one is more powerful. Both are beautiful, though.

Amazing. Hopefully it will do the trick. Everyone deserves to marry the one they love.

There's an American version of this commercial too, AsianShorty24: You might be able to find it under "Megan's Hand".

As your proud neighbor in Connecticut, we too are glad to have gay marriage legal, and the sky has not fallen yet. Though New England seems in stark contrast to the 30+ Constitutional Amendments barring it in the rest of the country, we have hope that one day all Americans will be able to pledge devotion to the one they love. Until that day, I offer my hope and support to the rest of the gays, around the world, still struggling for basic rights, including the right to live. My love to you.

On May 17, 2004 same-sex marriage became legal in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts making it the sixth jurisdiction in the world and the first in the United States to allow this basic human right. I am proud to live in Massachusetts and I can assure you that our world did not come to an end that day. All that did happen was 113 marriage applications were issued in Provincetown making the lives of 226 people a little more complete.

This is good... Why can't people see that love is love, even if it does not look the same to each of us?
