there is. its called Windows 7 (or Ubuntu Karmic 9.10. I use it as dualboot option. very fast and very neat)

But with SSD drives and Hyperboot technology (don’t know the real name for it) – the point is moot. W7 boot time less than 10 seconds to actually opening the internet. ^_^

Besides, hardcore geeks dual boot. ;)

@Pluberus I love it when I boot up my ubuntu at the beginning of class, check my email and have it shut down before everybody else’s vista pc’s even get to the internet. Over a semester thats like 10 hours of my life not wasted watching a progress bar.
