Actually Chris Johnson was said to have the fast time. He ran 4.24 in 2007 by electronic timing, which was the fastest 40-yard dash timing, since electronical timing was implemented.

Darrell Green, at age 30 during the redskins training camp in 1999, ran an unnofficial 4.19, and was named fastest man on a team that included deion sanders (4.29) champ bailey as a rookie (4.28) and fred smoot (4.31). Also, Jacoby Ford, WR out of clemson, who is projected declare for this years NFL draft, has ran an official 4.16, and trindon holliday of LSU ran an official 4.18. so instead of talking out your ass, get some facts....

At one of his last competitions, people calculated how long it took for him to run the last 40 yards. It was clocked at just under 3.7, granted he was already at full speed but I believe that he would be able to run under a 4.2 easily. And at KWH, there are many people who have unofficially run under a 4.2, 9 people did that and Ted Ginn Jr ran a 4.06.
